Scott Lopez, Owner, Visionary:
After high school, at the age of 17, Scott Lopez joined the US ARMY and manned an M1A1 main battle tank for several years. After his tenure in the US ARMY, Scott Lopez was first introduced to the distribution channel when he was hired by Ingram Micro. Since that time, Scott has dedicated his professional career to learning, networking, and promoting distribution channels. He is widely recognized for his experience, expertise, and forethought in various fields combining sales and technology.
With his ambitious attitude, Scott is a force which has pioneered several new and innovative programs for the channel. Through his many career experiences, he garnered knowledge and skills in the world of third-party network accessories. While growing his initial business offering, he continued exploring new opportunities that his many distribution friends would appreciate.
He continually pushed for growth through his creativity and expanded his business to include the world of Source Authority (Alternative to OEM products and services). Source Authority is Scott’s brainchild meant to ensure businesses save money while receiving the premium support and services they are accustomed to. Source Authority is truly a game-changer for business game-changer support for aging IT equipment.
As the founder of Zepol Productions Inc (ZPI), Scott is enthusiastic to support his Hispanic heritage through various diversity initiatives. Additionally, Scott is very active in the veteran community. He’s the Austin Chapter founder of USACares and a member of the NVBDC board of advisors. In addition to supporting disadvantaged businesses and communities, Scott’s company is SBA 8(a), minority and veteran-owned.
Scott enjoys spending time on Lake Travis, in Austin, TX with his two daughters Olivia and Liberty. His girls are also an additional source of his continued push to better the business landscape for those in underserved populations, recognizing all populations deserve equal and adequate opportunities to be successful!
Darrel Letcher, Chief Executive Officer:
Beginning his 20+ year career at Ingram Micro (alongside founder Scott Lopez), Darrel Letcher has been a champion of the channel from the beginning. In his time supporting and advocating for the channel, he has acquired extensive knowledge of distribution, finance, sales, and marketing programs driving consistent year-over-year growth for the companies he has served.
Understanding that “It’s not who you know, it’s who you bro!,” Darrel had gained and maintained a breadth of connections, friendships, and relationships that have allowed him to consistently drive revenue and growth for vendors such as Wells Fargo, Fujitsu, Oki Data, and Fortinet. Recognizing the potential Source Authority/ZPI offers to both the channel as well as the end-users they serve, he felt it was time to take on a new challenge within the channel industry.
Darrel encourages and facilitates that the values of Diversity extend throughout Zepol Production Inc as a whole. He’s focused on developing and expanding the company footprint throughout all underserved communities.
Darrel enjoys spending his free time with his family in California.
